Goodbye Metal Mouth

This is what I have looked like for the past year and a half. Ahh, the canker sores, the wax, drinkable yogurts and Ramen are a thing of the past. I am going to need to find other ways of losing weight other than having my teeth adjusted. Good times. Was it worth it? And now......... after 6 hours in the car and 2 hours in the orthodontist chair..

ATK Rocket Park

I am sooooooooooooooo behind on blogging. I have so many things I want to post about, but alas, I can't go back or I will never get caught up. I will blog about Will's b-day so look for that in the next couple days. We recently went and had lunch with my Pa at his work. He works for ATK and my Nephew loves rockets and such so we decided to go have a picnic at his work and check out the rocket display. Here is my Pa and gang in front of a rocket that my Dad told me all sorts of cool stuff about, but I don't remember any of it. Space and rockets are cool! :) Here are the boys. They had a BLAST (no pun intended :) well kinda) climbing on all the rockets. Little Mo love her some Macy B. Mo loves her some Macy B a little TOO much sometimes. Poor Macy. Aunt Katie and Mo in the most popular rocket tube (yep, I am pretty sure that is the technical name) Here is Mo crawling around the tube, trying to not get killed by the kids sliding past her. Will was sweaty and had a red face by the time he was done. I think he had fun. The kids (and adults for that matter) spent a good hour sliding on this tube and we had to PRY them off when it was time to go home. The Bear preffered the tummy approach. Good thing he wasn't dirty when all was said and done.Teenie is a black dog, and it was hot outside. Needless to say she spent the day in the stroller basket. Doesn't she look happy about it? Porbre Weenie.

Yep, it's an inside joke, but I bet my sis KT is peeing her pants right now and Brian and Jer are rolling their eyes :) This post is mainly for my hubby so he can see our "almost done" backsplash.

Mostly Excited, This Can't be Real!

Nope, it just doesn't feel real yet. It has been a very long day full of irritation and disappointment, but oh so worth it when I got to step into my "mostly finished" house. I will post pics of the house and yard later when it is actually finished (serenity now) These pics are the best I can do for tonight. At least we have carpet and tile :)I didn't get a good pic of my appliances, but the kitchen is mostly done (no backsplash.. ... grrrrr)

Will's new favorite song is "Your a Grand Old Flag." We saw 7 flags on our way to preschool. Guess how many times I heard that song? Plus 2 extra times to show me how fast he can sing it. 1. Army crawled from the boys room into our room to find me
2. Pulled herself up to standing in the bath tub
3. Ate 1/3 of a roast burger at Arby's and would not stop screaming until I let her drink my soda.
