B.............

I know that it is about time to take it away. In fact I already did once quite painlessly, but I know this time, it is gonna be rough. Maybe in a couple months. I love how this girl loves her binky. She will willingly go to bed, even if not tired, just to get to suck on her Binky. In the morning, she doesn't cry, or scream for me to get her out of her crib, she relishes every last moment in her crib with the bink. When it is time to get her up, she reluctantly tosses it into her crib. This is how I found her the other day.

Toni, we have the same issue. If I am missing binky's, then sure enough Landon will find them and he walks around with some in his mouth and some in his hands. I just can't bring myself to take them away so I'm not. I don't care what people think and me caring what people think would be the only reason to take them away. There are always those people who mumble things such as "she still has a binky" but seriously, those people don't know how wonderful it is to just give the child the binky and watch them relax instantly. Without it, life would be harder. And plus, they are third children. We have our hands full, don't we.

Apparently, I needed to vent on this issue so thanks for letting me do it here. (:

Oh the bink... it is a love hate relationship for mama's. Right now I am loving it because he is asleep because of it... during the day I am not liking it because he wants it too much and sometimes I want to give it to him to make my life easier. Oh the bink... good luck!

Taking it away suddenly makes them so big. I say you let her be your baby a just a little longer... she is so sweet!

What a cutie! It's such a bitter/sweet moment taking that binkie away isn't it! :)

I'm so glad you're bringing your Turkey's back. I remember thinking how adorable they were last year and am glad to be reminded of them this year! I am going to have to get some for sure.

As far as my actions, I actually didn't use any on those pictures. I just saturated them a tad for the web. Easy, peasy.

Maelie is the same way. I want to get rid of it but it is so nice to just give it to her and have her be quiet or go to sleep. Ahh if only it was good for them I would just let her keep it. Good luck with it. Let me know what worked for you.
