Some of the best things I've seen this week

We decided to go up to Island Park for a few days of R&R. We were able to take the kids out and see a few sites. We went to a place called Wade Lake. It was absolutely gorgeous. See for yourself. Not too mention the wild life there.

That's a crawdad, a relative of a lobster. And of course our little "bug."

The next day we loaded up the kids and braved the crowds in Yellowstone. A word to the wise, you will have a much better Yellowstone experience if you go before Memorial day or after Labor day. Just look at how poor Mo looked after following a line of slow cars around the park all day.

A list of the cool things we saw include a herd of elk, a huge bull elk with huge rack, a deer, one lone bison way off in the distance, a bald eagle, chipmunks, a black bear, and unbelievably enough a grizzly bear. But by far, one of the coolest things I saw was just as we were leaving the park. We were so amazed we followed it until we could get a great picture. Yes this is real and we did not alter this photo in any way.

Yes, that is a Ranch Wagon I think on a truck frame. And I may be mistaken, but I think it has a lift kit. And for those careful observers out there, yes, those are spot lights on the roof. If I remember right, it did have Montana plates.

And last but not least, we showed the kids the soccer ball on the mountain. We didn't dare let the kids run and play because the horse flies were storming the car as soon as we pulled up.

This is the radar tower on top of Sawtelle Mountain. The kids thought it was the coolest ball ever.

You get me laughing every single time! Have I mentioned how stinking cute "PJ" is? If I haven't then he is a doll :)
Mo's face after a day of riding is priceless.
